The Brit Awards will be broadcast Live on ITV tonight at 8:00pm and see the likes of Tom Odell, Disclosure, Bastille, London Grammar and many more go head-to-head for a variety of awards.

Presenter James Corden will be hosting the night and both Kylie Minogue and Prince have been confirmed to give awards.  It will be Corden’s last year at the helm as he stepped down after presenting the show since 2004.

He said: “I decided to step down because I didn’t want to read one day they had announced a new host for the Brits…I feel like if I just say, ‘I’m going to leave’, it’s on my own terms and I can enjoy this one knowing it’s my last.”

Performances will come from Katy Perry, Lorde, Disclosure, Pharrell Williams, Arctic Monkeys, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding and Bastille – with Bastille and Disclosure currently leading this year’s nominations.

John Newman is also being hotly tipped as a winner in the British Male Solo Artist and British Single Of The Year categories. Among the international categories are favourites Lorde, Daft Punk and Bruno Mars.
